About Vintage

We promise that all our garments are true vintage, as they are hand- picked from a well-known authentic vintage supplier. We would not like to falsely advertise any items as being from a specific era, unless we are sure that they are. We do lots of research into the history of era’s, and we have a knowledge of which era certain items may come from. If the item you are interested in does not have a dated era in the description, please feel free to email us for more information. We will do our very best to answer your questions.
We cannot guarantee an actual date on any of the items. But we can give you a basic write up as to why we believe an item is dated in a certain way.
If your vintage item does not have an attached washing care label, we recommend treating it as a delicate or hand wash item and that beaded, sequined, leather or suede clothing is specialist cleaned. Look after your vintage piece well, and it will continue to live on!
 
 
Privacy Policy
 
Pitstop Vintage will not disclose any of your personal information, including your name, address, email address, telephone number or payment details to any third party; unless we are required to do so by law, subject to the Data Protection Act 1988.
 
 
Returns Policy
 
Here at Pitstop Vintage we pride ourselves on great customer service. We want you to love your order with all of your heart, although we are aware that sometimes the order just isn’t right for you. If you wish to return any of our vintage gems we are more than happy to refund you within the time frame stated below:
UK: 7 working days (from invoice date)
Rest of the World: 14 working days (from invoice date)
 
For Pitstop Vintage to play fairy godmother and grant you your wish, you will have to email us at: hello@pitstopvintage.co.uk and inform us of your reason for return, and we will go ahead and forward our returns address to you.
 
Items must be returned at your own cost. We regret that Pitstop Vintage cannot refund the cost of original postage.
 
The post office date stamp or franked date will be proof of you posting your returned order within the 7 working days time policy.
 
Please return items using a traceable or insured method such as recorded delivery, or obtain a proof of postage from your Post Office, as we cannot return items which are lost on their way back to Pitstop Vintage.
 
Unfortunately returns will not be accepted if:
• Original tags have been removed or appear to be ‘re-attached’ by customers,
• Items appear to have been worn or have any odours,
• Items are not in a saleable condition
 
 
Payment details
 
Placing an order is easy and secure at Pitstop Vintage. We accept all major credit cards through Pay Pal. Pay Pal is the simplest and safest way to make a payment online.
You do not need a Pay Pal account to make a payment, simply select ‘Don’t have a Pay Pal account’ and follow the instructions.
 
 
Pricing
 
All prices displayed on the Website are quoted in GBP (Great British Pounds). All prices are final, and inclusive of any tax/VAT. Pitstop Vintage reserves the right to make changes to pricing and specifications without prior notice and without incurring any obligations to you.

Standard UK delivery:
1st Class Recorded £3.90
 
International delivery:
Airmail £6.90
(Any custom charges to be paid by the customer)
 
Orders over £50 will receive free delivery. This will automatically be deducted at checkout.

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We aim to resolve all information errors on the website as soon as reasonably possible. If you believe that such an error has affected your purchase please let us know via email. Pitstop Vintage reserves the right to change, delete, update or otherwise alter the content at anytime without providing further notice.
 
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor and your personal vision, we cannot guarantee that these factors will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.
 
All goods are subject to availability. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock before we accept the order we shall notify you as soon as possible and you will not be charged for the out of stock items.
 
We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non-acceptance of an order may, for example, result from one of the following:
 
* The product ordered being unavailable from stock
* Our inability to obtain authorisation of payment
* The identification of an error within the product information, including price or promotion.
 
If there are any problems with your order we will contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.
